This session presents our experience incorporating AI-driven certificate-based workforce training as part of the Interdisciplinary graduate degree program to bridge education and real-world job readiness in cybersecurity. First, a CISSP-aligned leadership track equips Master of Cybersecurity and Leadership (MCL) students with the governance, risk, and management competencies needed for supervisory and executive roles. Second, the Foundations of Cybersecurity Analytics certificate provides a structured career-transition pathway for learners from criminal justice , business, philosophy, or other non-technical fields into entry-level cybersecurity positions. Third, AI-powered cybersecurity skills prepare students to analyze modern, automated threats using machine learning–driven tools and techniques. Fourth, an interdisciplinary cybersecurity and business analytics framework connects technical security operations with data-driven decision making. Together, these elements form an inclusive, stackable training model that delivers hands-on experience, industry-recognized credentials, and clear career mobility into today’s AI-powered cybersecurity workforce.
